Project Overview

I was tasked to design a new landing page for LMNT that captured the essence of their brand while aligning with the style at Healf. I used an example of a product page from Healf to analyse the layout, colour scheme, typography, and content presentation to then make it relevant to LMNT.

I also had to ensure the design was optimised for both desktop and mobile views.

Challenges

This project had very tight time constraints, so I had to manage my time effectively when moodboarding, and iterating on designs.

The project also included making lots of pretty graphics of water splashes around cans to match their existing branding, which proved to challenging due to not owning an Adobe license. Thankfully, the existence of the masking tool on Figma allowed me to create engaging graphics with ease.

Final Solution

Within 1 day I was able to create a landing page that was optimised for both desktop and mobile that followed LMNT's existing branding, while keeping consistency with Healf's layout for it's products.

This design was actually created as part of a design challenge for a hiring process. The second task was to create a product mockup. After spending the rest of the allocated time trying to make an AR wearable hat from a 3D model I was creating in Blender, realised I still have a lot more to learn. So, I politely told the hiring manager that I loved making the UI design, but needed more practice with Blender before I could start a job there.
