I was tasked with redesigning the agencies website, while creating a new brand based entirely around blobs.
The agency specialises in designing and developing websites in the Further Education sector. Therefore, the website I designed had to be fun and engaging for potential clients to be inspired, while also remaining professional.
The greatest challenge was finding ways to keep using the same blobs without the user getting bored of them. This required me to continuously iterate on new and creative ways to use the blobs to keep them engaging.
On this project, I was also responsible for developing the landing page for both desktop and mobile using HTML and CSS. During development, I realised that some aspects of my designs were not feasible because they would require too much additional code to replicate exactly when reducing the size of the screen for mobile. This experience taught me the importance of considering the developer's perspective when designing and ensuring that my designs are practical and easy to implement, no matter the screen size.
I designed a cohesive agency website with blob-inspired branding, optimised for both mobile and desktop, ensuring it was fully accessible.
I also extended this branding across various formats, creating new templates for Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, audit documents, and HTML email marketing materials using MJML.
